The Dick Van Dyke Show star Mary Tyler Moore has died.

The actress was best known for playing the suburban housewife Laura Petrie alongside Dick Van Dyke’s Rob Petrie.

She was also praised around the world for incarcerating the modern women when she launched her own show, The Mary Tyler Moore Show in 1970.

A representative for the American said she passed away on Wednesday January 25th, according to The New York Times.

Mary, who won seven Emmys for her work in television, was 80 years old when she passed and was seriously ill for the last two years.

Dick shared a tribute to his on-screen wife on his Twitter and including a video of their duet I’ve Got Your Number from their show.

“There are no words. She was the best,” he wrote in the emotional post.

“We always said we changed each other’s lives for the better.”
