Louis Tomlinson reveals how the 1D boys got up to mischief on tour

Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne used to steal golf carts while on tour just to cause some mischief.

Speaking on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Just Hold On singer admitted that the pair used to love doing “something mischievous” after a gig.

“Sometimes Liam would stay with us, and it would get to like one in the morning, we’d finished on stage and we’d finished the whole atmosphere and we were coming down a little bit. We were like ‘OK, lets go and do something mischievous.”

“So we would always go and hopefully try and find a golf caddy with some keys in, steal it, take chase from security, and feel like gangsters driving golf caddies,” he laughed.

Before the band split in January last year, they loved getting up to no good after a show, and Louis admitted to feeling like a “gangster” while himself and Liam would be chased by security because of their antics.

However, Louis also added that when their manager caught wind of their mischief, they let each venue know what they were planning.

“Eventually they cottoned on to it and they started making little notes to each arena on the tour saying ‘Watch out, these boys are going to steal your golf caddy.”

Louis, who recently released his debut solo single Just Hold On with DJ Steve Aoki, still managed to have fun with the boyband by purchasing their own vehicles.

“So we then bought our own little go-karts and a little moped. I think we upset a few people during that trip but it was all harmless fun in reality. It was all harmless fun,” he added.
