Niall Horan has gushed about his One Direction bandmate Liam Payne and his girlfriend Cheryl, as the pair are set to welcome their first child this year.
While neither Liam or Cheryl have commented on her pregnancy, she debuted a rather large baby bump at the Quintessentially Foundation’s Annual Fayre of St James’ Church in November last year.
Now, Liam’s Irish bandmate Niall has revealed how Liam’s feeling, as he prepares for fatherhood.
“Liam hasn’t said he nervous but I’m sure he is. I bet he can’t wait as well. It is a very exciting thing in your life,” he told the Daily Star.

When asked if he was surprised when Liam and Cheryl first got together, Niall said, “He’s great and she’s lovely, it will be a lovely child. They are in love.”
Niall made his comments shortly after Liam jetted off to the USÂ to work on his solo music, leaving his pregnant girlfriend Cheryl at home in the UK.
Meanwhile, Cheryl was recently snapped in never-before-seen pictures filmed by her hairdresser Wendy Iles, showing off her massive baby bump in a new photoshoot in London, as she keeps her pregnancy as low key as possible.
A source told The Sun, “Cheryl has told close friends and family the very exciting news that she is expecting her first child. She is absolutely ecstatic.
“She doesn’t want to speak publicly about it for a number of reasons, particularly due to some of the battles she has gone through in her personal life in recent years. Obviously everyone wants to hear it come from her but she is keeping quiet for now,” they added.
