Shane Filan has promised to make one fan’s dying wish come true, after an online campaign caught his attention.
Superfan Emma Clayson was diagnosed with terminal cancer – with her final wish being to meet the Westlife star.
Trying to make her dream come true, Emma’s sister Becky reached out to the Sligo man online to make it happen.
“For people that don’t know, my sister Emma is terminally ill with cancer and has got a matter of weeks left with us,” she said.

“Ems has concert tickets to see Shane Filan. Unfortunately she can’t go as she is completely bedridden and unable to move.
“All she wants is to meet him, to say hello and have a picture with him as her last wish,” she added.
After the post was shared all over social media, the Me and the Moon singer’s management answered her plea – saying he’d be delighted to fulfll her dream.

“I want to thank everyone for their love and support with helping me and my family fulfil Emma’s last wish,” she wrote online.
“I can happily say that Shane Filan’s manager has been in touch and arrangements are being made.”
