Fashion Fix: Autumn Winter bag trends for under €60

25 NO FEE Penneys AW15

As the winter season rolls in, every girl knows you need the perfect bag in tow ahead of Christmas.

From clutch to shopper, the catwalk was filled with an array of shapes and styles to hang on your arm this Autumn Winter.

Trying to stay stylish and on trend on a budget can be tough but there’s no need to fret as Goss.ie bring you the best bags to nab.

1. Texture

Richly coloured foils and leather with lurex trimmings are just some of the combinations we saw on the catwalk for Autumn Winter.

With a slight eighties influence on this style, texture is a huge look that will lead into Spring Summer after (if you can even think that far).

Velvet is such luxe fabric and texture to play with for winter so this Boohoo box clutch with metal detailing gives you that catwalk look for less at €22.

2. Animal Print

Animal print is massive this season whether it’s patchworked, glossed, tinted and tasseled.

From Valentiono to 3.1 Philip Lim to Celine, all the big catwalks rocked this trend in this year’s IT prints – snake skin and leopard.

Heavily influenced by the seventies, we love this Topshop Croc-Effect Boxy Bag which is taking all the elements of the catwalk and making it wearable for everyday for only €42.

3. Treasure Box

Autumn Winter 2015’s object of desire is definitely the uber-embellished and gilded bejewelled bag.

Definitely on our lust list, they were a main focus on both Chanel and Dolce and Gabana’s runways this season.

Although not all of us are lucky enough to carry around a designer tote, Missguided semi precious black stone detail metal shoulder bag is a good dupe and is the perfect amount of treasure for us.

4. Chains

In case you didn’t notice but chains made an impact on this year’s catwalk but also at the Emmy awards with Claire Danes rocking the detail.

Already a Chanel favourite, fashion houses Gucci and Balenciaga also got behind the revival of look and made an impact with their reinvented over the shoulder bags.

However, if you want a little be more bag for your buck, this River Island tan suede slouchy chain handbag is perfect for AW15 at €60.

5. Fringe

It’s hard to escape the seventies influence on the catwalk and high street at the moment even though we love it here at Goss HQ.

There’s no better way to nod towards the trend then with your accessories and we love the idea of incorporating it into our bag collection.

Fringe is definitely the way to work this trend into your wardrobe and H&M are doing it right with this fringed bucket bag, at €24.99 it’s a steal in our opinion.

6. Purse belt

Who thought the bum bag could look fashionable? At Goss HQ we definitely didn’t.

Marc by Marc Jacob pushed this new accessory / bag mix and it’s one that has alas trickled down to the high street.

If we’re honest this isn’t one trend this season we’ve warmed up to yet but with this Brady tan purse belt from Pretty Little Things, we’d give it a try.
