WATCH: 'In South Wexford I was born and raised' Rose Of Tralee hopeful stuns crowd with Fresh Prince rap

The Rose Of Tralee may not take place until August – but the qualifiers are in full swing with women across Ireland and all over the world vying for a place in the famous festival.

While most Roses usually demonstrate their talents through a bit of Irish dancing or reciting a poem, the Kuwait representative had a much more original idea.

Roisin Reville took to the stage in Bahrain two weeks ago and serenaded the audience with her own rap version of the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air theme song.

The Rapping Rose

The hopeful contest raps about her time growing up in her native Wexford and the audience can’t get enough of it.

Unfortunately, the rap wasn’t enough to save Rosin and she wasn’t chosen as the Bahrain Rose.

However, she can take pride in the fact that the internet has fallen head over heels in love with her.
