It was a beautiful day for Bono as he brought his sense of humour to US chat show The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon as they re-enacted his bike accident from last year.
Nearly six months after the singer’s Central Park incident which left him severely injured, the U2 singer got back on his saddle to record a the talk show gag which see’s him gets struck by a van numerous times.
Filmed outside The Tonight Show’s 30 Rock studio, the sketch sees the newly blonde Bono triumph towards his bike, sizing up whether to cycle again.

However, just as the Irish rocker gets into his bicycling stride, everything begins to go a bit pear-shaped as he goes straight into the line of New York traffic.
Hilariously, the 54-year-old keeps on getting back up again regardless of getting continually knocked down while all TV host Jimmy Fallon can do is look on in comedic horror.
