Garth Brooks to make it up to Irish fans with MORE gigs

Grab your cowboys boots folks, looks like Garth Brooks is coming to town!

Less then a year since the Croke Park concert debacle, Garth revealed he wants to come back to the Emerald Isle at the end of his world tour.

Speaking to Patrick Kielty as part of a BBC Radio 2 special, the country singer’s comments were edited out of the the final broadcast but the Irish host reassured Garth hopes to make it up to his Irish fans.

The 53-year-old country legend invited Patrick to interview him at one of his Boston concerts and told the radio star that he would like to add some Irish concerts onto the end of his current world tour.

The Down native opened up about meeting the country superstar and how he was disappointed Croke Park didn’t work out.

“We did talk about the Ireland thing, but because the show was going out on Radio 2 and there’s a lot of mainland country fans.”

“He said ‘Well it was one of those things, we couldn’t make it work’ and he was gutted and he wants to try and fit it back in the tour and all these things.

“But, did it make the final edit? Probably not,” the Irish comedian admitted.
