While the first few episodes of the series will be pre-recorded, Pat is looking forward to returning to the more “edgy” format of live TV.

“I do live radio everyday and I enjoy it, I enjoy it best when it’s live. When its pre-recorded you can always do it again, when it’s live it makes it more fun, more edgy, and that’s the way I like it.”

Speaking at the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy S6, the TV star admitted filming in the famous Round Room will be a challenge given he’s out of his usual TV studio environment.

“At the moment, we’re just developing the format and getting used to the set. We have to create a studio in the Mansion House every time we go in, it’s not an actual studio by any means,” he told Goss.ie.

“There’s a lot of things to deal with everytime. We’re kind of finding our feet at the moment with the technical aspects so we’ll see how it goes.”

It comes after Pat revealed the look and feel of In The Round will be unlike anything he’s ever done before.
