Emily In Paris star Lucien Laviscount has opened up about his romance with Shakira: “She’s one of the most beautiful, hard-working people I’ve ever met.”
The singer was first linked to the actor after he appeared in the music video for her new song Puntería in early April.
The SheWolf singer shared a series of sensual snaps from the shoot with the British actor at the time.

However, her latest flame has sparked concern among her friends, who fear Lucien is only in it for the fame.
Although sources have confirmed they are together they have reiterated that they are not “heavily involved.”
This reportedly comes as a relief to the 47-year-old’s friends, who reportedly fear he is going to break her heart.

In an interview with Us Weekly during the F1 Miami Grand Prix, Lucien gushed: “Shakira is one of the most incredible artists to ever grace the planet,”
“Her dedication to her craft, to her fans and her love for life is truly inspiring. She’s one of the most beautiful, hard-working people I’ve ever met.”
While filming the fourth season of his hit Netflix show, the star recalled: “getting the call saying that there was some interest in me being a part of the video.”
“I was shooting Emily In Paris at the time but we managed to figure out the dates and I was on the next flight out to Miami.”
“Miami is all about the people, the culture, the vibe. I was rapping along to ‘Welcome To Miami’ when I was a kid, dreaming of this place. It never disappoints.”
A source told the Daily Mail when they first began dating: “Shakira is desperate to fall in love – but her friends are concerned because Lucien has slowly crept his way up the celebrity ladder while dating women who were all less famous than Shakira.”
“The women he has been with are all very different. Now he is seeing Shakira – and she wants love.”
“But her friends fear he just wants people to know his name and she provides that. They are seeing each other but are not heavily involved yet.”
The insiders also claimed that she is “not over her ex” Gerard Piqué and that everyone “knows that Lucien is a rebound.”
“She is dating someone who they fear is a player and she is going to get burned,” the source concluded.
The musician, 47, ended her relationship with the footballer, 37, back in 2022 after eleven years together.
