Zac Efron has denied that he’s set to take on the role of Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise.
It was rumoured last month that the Neighbours star would take the reigns from Jamie Dornan and appear as the next Christian Grey – but sadly, it isn’t going to happen.
When asked if he was in line for the role by Nick Grimshaw on BBC Radio 1’s Breakfast Show, Zac said, “Why would I do that?”

“I’ve got to call my agent and make sure that isn’t the truth.”
After recently revealing that he didn’t have any luck on Tinder, Zac admitted that he has a tough time trying to date in general.
“If it’s just me out somewhere, that’s when it gets weird. Every time it’s just me, something goes wrong. I’ll meet the weirdest person in the world.

The former Disney star also revealed that his parents are pushing him to settle down.
“My parents are so stoked if I bring someone home, they’re like ‘thank god, he’s a real person.
“They don’t care who it is, it could be someone I picked up off the street,” he added.
