Margot Robbie is set to host NBC’s Saturday Night Live, as it returns on October 1.
The hugely popular late-night live television sketch comedy and variety show is returning for it’s 42nd season – and Suicide Squad star Margot is set to front the first show.
The Weeknd will also be the musical guest for the Season 42 opener ahead of the release of his new album, Starboy, on Nov. 25.

The premiere will take place just five days after the first presidential debate (featuring one of last year’s SNL hosts, Donald Trump) – which may provide plenty of material for the sketch show.
The news comes after Australian actress Margot signed a huge deal with Warner Bros to produce and star in her very own Harley Quinn spin-off.
