He has kept her name under wraps for weeks, but Love/Hate star Peter Coonan has revealed his baby’s name is Beth.
The RTE star said he wasn’t sure if his girlfriend Kim O’Driscoll would mind giving out the name.
“Her name is Beth,” Peter told Goss.ie.
“She has her mothers looks thankfully, she looks like a baby, she’s cute.”

“There are no books that can teach you anything, I mean you can try, but they don’t tell you what it is. You’ve got to learn on the ground, but it’s been amazing, probably the best thing that’s ever happened,” he explained.
Peter made the comments after announcing his role in Borstal Boy, a new play that will run at the Gaiety Theatre.
Peter aka Fran revealed his daughter was born just as he had two days off filming Love/Hate.
“It was a joy. She came on a Saturday, I was off on the Sunday and the Monday, so I had two days with her. She was very well behaved.”

The actor added that his focus has changed since Beth was born.
“Life and work is important for me now, but her life is more important, so whatever way I can make her life better is important to me,” he said.
