Shailene Woodley has been arrested during a peaceful protest in North Dakota.
The Divergent star was demonstrating against a proposed oil pipeline, set to run through four states and desecrate sacred Native American land in the process.
The actress was arrested under the grounds of “criminal trespassing and engaging in a riot.”

Live-streaming the entire thing on her Facebook page, the 24-year-old describes what’s happening.
“They grabbed me by my jacket and said that I wasn’t allowed to continue,” she said.
“They have giant guns and batons and zip ties and they are not letting me go.
“It’s because I’m well known, it’s because I have 40,000 people watching.”
Nearly two hours into the live stream is when police arrest Shailene.
