Daniel Radcliffe won’t rule out reprising Harry Potter role

Daniel Radcliffe won’t rule out reprising his role as Harry Potter in the future.

While an adult Harry Potter, played by Jamie Parker, is currently featuring on the West End in JK Rowling’s play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child – the original Harry Potter, Daniel, wouldn’t say no to returning to the wizarding world – under the right circumstances.

“The circumstances would have to be pretty extraordinary

“But then I am sure Harrison Ford said that with Han Solo and look what happened there!” he told Radio Times.

“So I am saying ‘No’ for now, but leaving room to backtrack in the future.”

Since Harry Potter, Daniel has nabbed numerous movie roles, and most recently stars in Now You See Me 2 – which brings him back to the world of magic, but Daniel didn’t originally see the connection.

“They were like, ‘You are going to get loads of questions about magic again’, and I went, ‘Oh, damn, I guess I am!'”

“If people want to find a correlation, they will. I should probably pay more attention, but for me Now You See Me 2 was a new type of role. I have never played a part like this in a film like this and didn’t think about the connection to magic,” he added.
