Ariana Grande admitted that she almost cried when she saw Selena Gomez at last night’s American Music Awards.
The ceremony was Selena’s first public appearance since August – and Ariana was emotional seeing her back in the limelight.
“I literally almost cried when I saw her,” she said about running into her old friend.

Ariana, who won Artist Of The Year, revealed that she hasn’t spoken to Selena in a long time but gushed about her pal.
“I haven’t talked to her in a long time. So, I don’t know what’s going on, but I gave her a huge hug and she looks beautiful,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
“I’m so happy that she’s here. I’m happy to see her out and about.”
