Is there something in the water over in Hollywood right now – seriously, is there?
After a couple of months of shocking splits – including Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, now Tobey Maguire has announced he has split from his wife.
In a statement revealed to People, the Spider Man actor revealed he and his wife Jennifer have called it quits.
In the statement the couple said their “first priority remains raising [their] children together with enduring love, respect, and friendship.”
The couple added that they had done a lot of “soul searching” before coming to the tough decision.

The couple had been married for nine years, tying the knot back in 2007.
Tobey and Jennifer have two children together, daughter Ruby, aged 9, and son Otis, aged 7.
