X Factor star Chris Leonard has admitted One Direction star Niall Horan has been texting him words of support.
The Meath star is 1/8 of boyband Stereo Kicks and revealed Niall has been there to help him through the competition.
“I feel very proud to be the last Irish person in X Factor this year, still flying the flag,” he said.
“Niall is a legend and is always texting me. He’s there to help and understands what I’m going through.”

Speaking to the Irish Sun Chris said mentor Louis Walsh has been there with them every step of the way.
And despite his new boyband Hometown performing their debut single on the Late Late Show last night, Chris said Louis was at the X Factor all day.
“Louis has been with us all day today — which speaks for itself.”
