One of Game Of Thrones’ most popular characters is set to return.
Gendry, played by Joe Dempsie, is rumoured to be making a comeback on the hit HBO show.
The skilled blacksmith sailed away in a small rowboat season three in order to avoid priestess Melisandre’s clutches.

According to Watchers On The Wall, Joe was spotted in Northern Ireland back filming where he left off – Dragonstone.
The actor had admitted before that he would be happy to return to the show to set some of the unanswered questions about his character straight.
“There’s a lot of unanswered questions about Gendry and the longer it goes on, the more obvious his absence becomes,” he told Digital Spy.
“I mean, God, the amount of memes I get sent on Twitter. Whether they’ll bow to that pressure or not, I don’t know. But fingers crossed, because it’d be lovely to go back.”
Game Of Thrones returns to HBO in summer 2017.
