The programme has already been described as a more challenging version of the BBC’s Survivor and will be filmed in the South American jungle.

A source told The Sun: “Netflix are determined their collection will be largely killer, with very little filler.”

“They’re not scrimping on paying six-figure fees and aren’t afraid to cough up more for the biggest names.”

“They’ll be shelling out an eight-figure sum in all, so the cast will be one of the most expensive in reality TV history.”

According to the outlet, Bear, 49, and Holly, 43, will be paid £1 million each for the series.

It is set to be filmed in May 2024 in the Costa Rican jungle, however won’t be aired until 2025.

Holly, who quit ITV’s This Morning last October, has been the face of daytime TV in the UK for over a decade.

A show insider told MailOnline: “It’s a great and such an exciting fresh series and of course a great challenge for Holly.”

“It’s a great opportunity for her.”

Netflix bosses have said: “Holly was their woman for this project from the word go.”

“They are absolutely delighted to have got her to sign on the line, hopefully there will be many more opportunities to work with her down the line too.”

A source said: “Holly and her team grafted for this deal with Netflix and negotiated a very attractive package.”

“Holly knows her worth and only wants to put her name on credible projects.”

“She is ready to go into the next league.”

Holly is also now being represented by Cherry PR – who have an impressive range of clients under their belts including Maya Jama and Sam Smith.

The Sun has now claimed that Holly’s team negotiated a “mammoth” fee for her Netflix deal which will broaden her horizons after years on UK TV.

Her new PR company, Cherry Create, also looks after the rapper Aitch, former One Direction bandmate Zayn Malik and singer Lola Young.

The presenter is reportedly working on her new image and making it more globally appealing than ever before.
