Karen Koster has opened up on the recent changes to TV3’s Xposé.
The mother-of-two, who has just returned from maternity leave, was shocked with the news that long-time hosts’ Lisa Cannon and Aisling O’Loughlin were axed from the show, as well as Peter O’Riordan.
New presenters Cassie Stokes and Ruth O’Neill have been made permanent on the programme, while Lisa Cannon will move over to Weekend AM.
Speaking about the change-up to Independent.ie, Karen remained fairly tight-lipped, “Officially, I can’t really say very much. I think they’re gonna go on to fantastic things”.

While Karen is getting back into the swing of Xposé, the blonde beauty admitted that she’ll keep in touch with all of them as they’re all really good friends.
“I am really just concentrating on my job at hand and I’m really excited to get back to a job I love. I’m glad to get stuck back in and put my work hat back on and take a little break from raring babies, which is the hardest job I’ve ever had in my life.
“I’ve spoken to all of them, we’re all really good pals and we’re all going to maintain those friendships really and that is what I’m going to take from everything,” she told TV Now.
The news comes after Aisling O’Loughlin is reportedly seeking legal advice after being axed from Xposé whilst on maternity leave.
