TWO Geordie Shore stars quit the show following feud with fellow cast member

Marnie Simpson and her husband Casey Johnson have reportedly quit Geordie Shore, following a feud with their co-star and former close friend Charlotte Crosby.

The 32-year-old has allegedly refused to film new episodes of the series, after an epic bust-up between her and Charlotte – which aired on the previous season.

The mother-of-two has previously threatened to quit, but now The Sun has confirmed she won’t be coming back.

A source told the publication: “Marnie was really unhappy with how the last series went down and how she came across.”

“It made her miserable and stressed and she doesn’t want to go back. Casey is fully supportive and has had enough too.”

“They want a fresh start and don’t feel like they need the show anymore.”

“MTV tried to persuade them to come back for another round, as the ratings for the last series skyrocketed with all the drama, but they aren’t interested,” they added.

The feud between the two friends began after they got into a heated dispute over a high chair.

The cast of the MTV reality show reunited in Cyprus last year for the 24th series – however, two days into filming, a huge bust-up occurred that saw OG Charlotte fly home with her fiancé Jake and daughter Alba.

The bust-up was first revealed last April, when a source told The Sun: “The fallout started in the villa, and after Charlotte flew home early it’s only got worse.”

They continued: “Friends have tried to intervene but they’ve now unfollowed each other.”

“They’re both fuming – it started out over petty rows in the villa, now it’s boiled over into a proper feud.”

Marnie had previously said she’d be open to the possibility of a reconciliation, but she wouldn’t be the one to initiate it.

She told The Sun: “I think it’s a shame because the memories what we got, it’s a shame that we’ve lost the friendship but it is what it is.”

“It doesn’t get us down, I’m not losing any sleep over it.”

“I’m just focusing on the positive this year, I don’t want to focus on any negatives.

“I want to surround myself with people who uplift me and make me feel good and who want the best for us,” she added.
