Love Island returned for another episode on Thursday night as the love triangles come to an end following a shock recoupling.
During the episode, the Islanders catch up with Samantha and Joey after their first date, but it’s not long before Nicole receives a text.
The message read: “Islanders, Tonight there will be a recoupling in which the Girls will choose which Boy they want to couple up with #nomoretriangles #chooseyourmatch”
Reacting to the text, Harriett said: “You are joking!”
The girls made their decisions around the fire pit, with the new couples in the villa now being:
- Nicole and Ciaran
- Jess and Sean
- Uma and Omar
- Harriett and Ronnie
- Mimi and Ayo
- Samantha and Joey
In the episode, Jess brought and end to the love triangle between her, Ronnie and Harriett.
During her speech she decided to pick Sean who she has been getting to know – instead of her current couple
Viewers flooded to social media to share their thought on the recoupling branding it “awkward” and “boring.”
However, many still praised Jess for sticking to her word after giving Ronnie and ultimatum.
