Joey Essex’s sister Frankie has shown her support for Samantha Kenny following her exit from Love Island.
Samantha was dumped from the Island following a recoupling where Joey rekindled a flame with his ex Grace Jackson.
The makeup artist had been coupled up with Joey Essex, but their romance hit the rocks when his former flame entered the villa as a bombshell.
The exes wasted no time in rekindling their romance as Grace invited Joey to join her in Casa Amor for a “sleepover”, leaving Samantha heartbroken.
In upsetting scenes, Samantha threatened to walk out of the villa as Joey and Grace returned from Casa Amor and kissed in front of her and the rest of the Islanders.
Following her dumping, the make-up artist’s sister posted a tribute to her on Instagram, writing: “Appreciation post for my girl 🥹🫶🏼 can’t even put into words how proud I am of you Sam…”
“you’ve made us the proudest Family on the planet! Everybody Loves you for just being you 🩷 your our winner kid 👑 Love you so much.”
Joey’s sister Frankie shared her support to Samantha on this post by commented a number of red hearts underneath it.
Earlier this week, it was revealed Love Island bosses were forced to cut steamy scenes of Joey and Grace, as they rekindled their romance during an overnight stay in Casa Amor.
The pair briefly dated last summer before they were reunited in the villa when she entered the villa as a new bombshell.
During Sunday’s episode of the dating show, the model invited Joey to join her on an overnight stay in the second villa – despite him being coupled up with Samantha Kenny.
Unfortunately for Samantha, it wasn’t long before Joey and Grace were filmed kissing in the pool, picking up where they left off last summer.
However, The Sun has since reported that the pair got much closer than that in scenes that were too raunchy for air.
A source said: “It’s been a long time since we’ve seen chemistry like this on Love Island.”
“We always wanted to bring sex back to the villa but didn’t expect this kind of tension so soon.”
“There was genuinely so much footage of Joey and Grace at it in Casa Amor, bosses were spoilt for choice and some scenes had to be left out of the edit.
“Because they knew each other before, their entire relationship is on fast forward and it’s steamy stuff. Joey can’t keep his hands off her.”
Before they were filmed kissing in the pool, Joey and Grace reflected on why their romance fizzled out last summer – blaming the fact that he lived in Essex and she lived in Manchester.
Joey said: “I’m looking for something serious. I don’t really step into proper serious relationships unless I know for a fact that it’s going to work.”
“With me and you I felt like the long distance was the only thing in the way. Apart from the long distance I felt like we would have potentially gone further for real.”
Grace replied: “I actually do plan on moving to London. Regardless, I was thinking of that anyway so that would work better.
“I think the fact that we have kind of come back together and I have been here for literally a day and I already feel like nothing’s changed.”
