Justin Timberlake is ‘business as usual’ for his Forget Tomorrow World Tour amid DWI charges

Justin Timberlake has been “business as usual” for his Forget Tomorrow World Tour amid his DWI charges.

The 43-year-old was detained by the police on Monday night in Sag Harbor in the Hamptons.

The Cry Me A River singer appeared in court on Tuesday afternoon

A source told the Daily Mail that the singer had been out for dinner with friends and was pulled over shortly after leaving the group around midnight.

The source told the: “Justin was out to dinner with friends and there were cop cars stationed outside the restaurant like there are most nights.”

They look for people who are leaving after midnight who might have been drinking.”

“Justin left at 12:30AM and was pulled over as soon as he left. Nobody was hurt and there was no drama at the scene.

The 43-year-old was arraigned on Tuesday, June 18, and released without bail.

Justin was charged with one count of driving while intoxicated.

“The charge was a single count because he refused the breath test,” his lawyer, Ed Burke, told Us Weekly.

“Mr Timberlake was also charged with two other court citations, running a stop sign and not travelling in the correct traffic lane.”

The pop star has two upcoming shows in Chicago later this week, followed by back-to-back shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City next week.

The singer is due back in court on July 26, the same date as the start of his world tour in Poland, which caused tension amongst his crew that the 43-year-old would not be able to perform.

An insider told the U.S. Sun that the former NSYNC star spoke on a long conference call following the shock arrest.

“He made sure that this arrest didn’t create tension in the crew, he reacted like a boss, like someone who owns his s**t,” said the insider.

“He said sorry for bringing this kind of attention to the team. Everyone was happy to hear what he said.”

However, it seems that his work has been largely unaffected by the DWI charges as a source close to the singer revealed it will be going ahead.

A source told People on Thursday: “It’s business as usual for him, the tour is continuing as planned.”
