Charlie star Sinead Watters turned down a sexy role in award winning series Game of Thrones.
The fantasy thriller is an international hit but the Dubliner refused to play a prostitute, in the same series Charlie actor Aidan Gillen was starring in.
Instead Sinead tried to find more serious roles and is now best know for playing shop-keeper Jacinta in RTE drama Charlie.
“That was a strange one,” Sinead said of the Game of Thrones offer,” she said.

“‘We have a role for you in Game of Thrones. Would you be willing to go naked and play the role of a prostitute?’
“Eh, no thanks.”
Sinead admitted that although she is on the road to success now she has had a lot of rejection throughout her acting career.
“That can be tough but you have to forget about it and keep on trying,” she told the Herald.

“What’s good about Ireland is that if you don’t have an agent you can contact casting directors directly,” she
said.
“I think Charlie is my first real break. I have kind of done short films and then my own one but this is RTE, the national broadcaster.
“My mum keeps telling me that I have made it because I am on RTE,” she revealed.
