Cat Deeley has hinted at Patrick Kielty hosting This Morning with her.
The 47-year-old made her official debut on the breakfast show this week after she and Ben Shephard were named as the replacements for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
Cat and Patrick have been married since 2012 and it is apparent that the couple have considered the idea of him appearing on This Morning.
During a US interview with iconic husband and wife duo Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa, Cat said: “Everybody was saying ‘is he going to do it with you?’ I was like ‘no thank you’.”
But Kelly, 53, insisted: “You should try it!”
Cat quizzed: “Does it work?” to which Kelly replied: “It’s surprisingly pleasant.”
Mark quipped that Cat should have Patrick on standby in case her co-host Ben is ever sick.
Cat laughed and replied: “Do you think?”
After Ben and Cat made their This Morning debut, viewers took to their social media accounts to show them their support.
Speaking during the opening of the show, Cat said: “We are so excited to be here this show has been a part of our lives for so long.”
Ben, who previously left Good Morning Britain after 10 years, added: “Everyone has been so kind. thank you to everyone who has sent us messages of support.”
Fans of the show took to X on Monday morning to share their thoughts on the new permanent hosts.
One wrote: “I really like Cat and Ben and I’m sure they’ll be great as the new permanent presenters. Just relieved to finally have an end to all the chopping and changing, fingers crossed there’s some stability at last. Now just get them on the opening titles #ThisMorning.”
