“I like people, I’m really interested in people, like my life is fairly boring – I have my missus, my kids and my mum and that’s my little world it’s not extremely exciting, so I like meeting people who are different to me.

“And I just like people in general and I think that’s why I got into presenting you know, because I just get on with people and I like having a laugh and I suppose I’m quite normal.

On the topic of chat shows, it was recently reported that the Late Late Show was in need of a ‘revamp’ – but Baz disagrees.

“I don’t think so, I’m a fan of Ryan, I think he’s great, he’s great with people and I think it’s very tough, there’s not many jobs where it’s a two hour live chat show.

“I think people underestimate that, sometimes they forget that and he mans it very well, so personally I like the way it is,” she added.

Baz Ashmawy joined GAA All-Stars in a Cook-Off Challenge to promote Kellogg’s Powering Play for Children.

With more than 100,000 children gearing up to take part in this year’s Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps, Kellogg’s Powering Play 2016 promotes the importance of nutrition and hydration in fuelling physical activity.
