B*Witched star Edele Lynch has told how going on Celebrity Big Brother helped her sort her head out after her marriage split.
The Dubliner has had a hard couple of months after separating from her husband Michael of eight years.
And the 35-year-old told Goss.ie that going into the Celebrity Big Brother house helped her a lot and was “exactly what I needed”.
She said: “The Big Brother experience was really good overall, I’m really glad I did it. It was kind of what I needed really.

“I needed to go and press the reset button somewhere so where better to do it. It was exactly what I needed, even though it was a crazy experience.”
But Edele always knew she wasn’t going to win, with her sanity counting against her when it came to airtime.
She said: “I felt quite sane in there, which doesn’t make great TV. There was a couple of insane people in there, but I’m quite accepting of how people are.
“So unless they’re really bothering me I’ll just kind of leave you to it. I had lots of words, I think I had more then what you saw on TV.
“But again when I have them I like to do it quite diplomatically, I don’t cut up shorts or scream and shout at people or call them names so it’s not interesting enough.”

And Edele told Goss.ie that she would definitely like to stay in touch with some of her fellow housemates.
“I’m going to see Dee this weekend, she has family in Ireland so I’m going to catch up with her.
“I’ll definitely see James and George again – we got on like a house on fire. They were so funny and made me laugh so much,” she said.
Now Edele is the poster woman in Ireland for Britney Spears’ new lingerie line – Intimate Britney Spears for lingerie giant Change – and is exited to be part of her friend’s range.
“It’s absolutely stunning, I have to say she’s done a great job. It’s just fabulous, I want everything,” she said.

The Mum of three showed off her fantastic body as she posed for pictures today at the Changes store in Pavillions Shopping Centre.
“It’s an honor to be asked, I’m a 35-year-old mum-of-three and they’re asking me to be the body of Britney’s range here, so it’s amazing for me.
“B*Witched went on a few tours with Britney back in the day, so I already know her, Â so it’s actually quite nice to be doing it for her.
“The stuff is stunning. It looks beautiful, feels beautiful and for me as a woman I think it’s so important to start under your clothes to feel how you want to feel on the outside.”
