Ian Dempsey poked fun at Anton Savage’s departure from Today FM this morning during a press conference.
The presenter announced that he was leaving the station in a shock statement last Friday, after a number of disagreements with Today FM bosses.
However, during a press conference this morning, where Guns N’ Roses Slane gig for 2017 was announced, Ian Dempsey took a cheeky pop at Anton’s departure as he asked reporters to take part in a quiz.
“I’m going to do a quick quiz for you right, you’ll enjoy this – and the prize is a mid-morning show on Today FM,” he joked.
The crowd then erupted into laughter, with one person even shouting “ouch!” as Ian laughed off the cheeky jibe.
