RTE star Sinead Kennedy has told how it can be extremely tough to be a female on TV.
The Winning Streak presenter revealed she is constantly approached about her weight on the street – and told she looks fatter on the screen.
And Sinead, 31, says that sometimes she wonders if she is even fit for being an Irish celebrity.

She said: “People constantly talk about my weight to me. A lot of people will tell me that I’m a lot thinner in reality than I look on screen.
“They probably don’t necessarily mean it as an insult, but it’s tough. And people approach me to talk about my hair — telling me that they liked it on a certain week, but not on another.
“It’s banter on one level, of course, but also I don’t have a very thick skin. I’m not built for this job in many ways.”
And Sinead feels that Ireland may be so male-orientated with our stars, that the public might hate a female Late Late Show host.

She told the Irish Independent: “We’re all so used to having a male presenter on the Saturday Night Show and on the Late Late.
“Would a female face even be acceptable? After all, all the big prime time entertainment slots here — or indeed in the US or the UK — have a man at the helm.”
