She’s already a bonafide movie maker thanks to two of her novels making it to the big screen – but Cecelia Ahern is still the number one author in Ireland.
The author’s newest novel The Year I Met You has gone straight to the top of the Irish book charts, and landed the number 5 spot in the UK.
Clearly delighted with the news Cecelia wrote on her Twitter page:
“Amazing news today; The Year I Met You is number 1 in Ireland and number 5 in the UK,” she wrote.

While her new book is a massive success Cecelia’s new movie Love,Rosie is getting rave reviews.
The film starring Lily Collins and Suki Waterhouse, the movie is based on Cecelia’s book Where Rainbow’s End.
