Sensitive skin expert, La Roche-Posay, played host to an exclusive baby skincare masterclass in Dublin’s Iveagh Hotel.
Well-known mums such as Pippa O’Connor and Gail Kaneswaran gathered in the luxurious surroundings to learn about how best to care for their baby’s skin.
Upon arrival, guests were treated to a sumptuous buffet breakfast of granola and chia seed pots topped with fresh berry compote, fresh fruit with organic Greek yoghurt, and an indulgent array of freshly baked pastries.
The contemporary venue was dressed with fresh flowers and soft furnishings, with oversized teddy bears and giant confetti balloons creating a playfully engaging ambience.
Following the breakfast reception, attendees were then invited to take their seats for the La Roche-Posay expert panel discussion, which included Consultant Dermatologist, Dr. Niki Ralph, along with La Roche-Posay Skin Expert, Janette Ryan.
Mums at the event were intrigued to learn how to start their baby’s skincare routine from first day of life. The majority (89%) of parents admitted to forgoing a skincare routine for their baby in the initial days after birth and just over a third (35%) developed their routine within the first month.
They were also surprised to hear that 53% of parents claimed their child’s sensitive skin condition developed in the first 3 months after birth.
The event featured a mix of well-known mums such as; Grace Mongey, Ursula Walsh of Mom Fitness Diaries, Dee Woods, Siobhan O’Connor and Laura Erskine
