Gerald Kean has called Kim Kardashian’s robbery in Paris ‘stupid.’
The reality star was tied up and held at gun point by five armed men in the early hours of Monday morning – and now, celebrity solicitor Gerald has said that he doesn’t understand how it happened to such a high profile celebrity.
“I don’t know how it could happen to someone like her,” he said.

The Celebrity Operation Transformation star recalled when his partner at the time, Lisa Murphy, was held hostage and had her life threatened when armed men attacked their home in Wicklow five years ago.
Gerald admitted that his home at the time has no security and there was no way of preventing the robbery.
“Lisa was tied up for four or five hours and her wrists were bleeding from the tape,” he told RSVP Magazine.
“I came home because I couldn’t get her on the phone and I was worried, I thought it was a car accident, I never expected it was a robbery.
“They took my engagement ring that I bought her, a watch that I bought her, and some jewellery Michael (Flatley) bought and that is it.
“They were in the house for about four and a half minutes, they put a knife to her throat and said they were going to cut it until she opened the safe.”

Comparing the event to what happened to Kim, the solicitor revealed that the armed men knew what they wanted to take from his home.
“They went into the house, and like the Kim Kardashian robbery, they knew what they were after.
“They went with five items, they left everything else, it was like they hoovered the house before they left the place it was so clean,” he added.
“The silly thing about Kim Kardashian is that she has security, unlike Lisa.
“It is really stupid, I don’t know how it could happen to someone like her.”
