Nicola Coughlan has made a surprise appearance on Kylie Minogue’s TV special, An Audience with Kylie.
The Irish actress, who is a huge fan of the singer, appeared in the audience at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Responding to questions from the crowd, the Bridgerton star stood up and shyly told Kylie that she took a picture with her “wax work in Madame Tussauds” when she was 12.

The Bridgerton star added: “I mean, you look better right now than you did in that wax work museum.”
Fans have shared their delight at the unexpected cameo on X, with one user referencing the show in a post that said: “Nicola Coughlan and Kylie Minogue represent short women at #AnAudienceWithKylie.”
During her cameo, Nicola addressed Kylie and said: “You’re a beautiful princess and thank you for all the short women in the world, you’re our icon.”
The Galway native also cheekily asked Kylie if she had ever “borrowed anything” from a set and not returned it.

The songstress responded frankly, and confessed she stole “Charlene’s overalls” from the set of the Australian soap Neighbours.
Kylie starred as Charlene in Neighbours from 1986 to 1988 alongside co-star Jason Donovan, who starred as Scott from 1986 to 1989.
The pair reunited for the final season of Neighbours last year, and reprised their iconic roles for the last ever series of the show.
Kylie took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes snap of her and Jason, captioning the post: “Now we’re back together.”

Kylie, 55, returned the question to Nicola, 36, and asked her if she had ever stolen anything from set.
Coughlan responded jokingly and said: “We don’t have that long, I don’t think. People walk into my house and they’re like ‘this is very regency’ and I’m like, ‘I know!'”
Nicola will be the focus of the next season of Bridgerton, which will air in 2024, as it will follow the love story between her character Penelope Featherington and Lord Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
