Cecila Ahern has admitted she’s taking a taking a break from writing.
The daughter of Bertie Ahern has many renowned novels already, such as P.S. I Love You, The Gift, and her debut young adult novel Flawed, which is being turned into a movie.
“I’m going to take a year out creatively,” the author revealed.

The Dubliner further revealed she even though she won’t be writing, she will be publishing books.
“When I had my daughter I took a year out and I’m not writing next year but I’m going to be publishing books,” she told the Irish Mirror.
“I’m really looking forward to it. I notice when I come back it’s all fresh again.
“Everyone needs a little break.”
