Bono has revealed that he isn’t sure if U2 will ever tour again.
The band frontman recently had to cut a U2 concert in Berlin short, as he strained his voice and has now said that he doesn’t know if the band will ever do another tour.
U2 are currently on their ‘Experience + Innocence’Â tour, but the 58-year-old has told The Sunday Times that touring is “particularly demanding.”
“Whether you have a face-off with your own mortality or somebody close to you does, you are going to get to a point in your life where you ask questions about where you’re going,” he continued.
When asked if the band will ever tour again, Bono said: “I don’t know. I don’t take anything for granted.”
“He doesn’t naturally take responsibility for his physical wellbeing. Which is fine in your twenties, but you get to a certain point … It is a difficult shift for him,” The Edge said.
“I can’t do as much as I used to. On previous tours I could meet a hundred lawmakers in between shows and now I know I can’t do that,” Bono explained.
