Bob Geldof rakes in €3 MILLION from TV production company

Bob Geldof has made A LOT of money from his share of £2.25 million (€3 mill) in dividends from the production firm Castaway.

The Dubliner is a shareholder in Castaway Television Productions Ltd, the company behind popular reality show Survivor, and it’s generating him some serious profit.

The UK-based production firm has seen dividends increase on an annual basis as Survivor has been sold across the world and has pulled in millions of viewers, and now Bob is reaping the benefits.

New accounts from Castaway Productions Ltd show that pre-tax profits last year increased by 49% to £4.7 million as revenues increased by 37% to £9.49 million.

Bob Geldof last year shared in a fresh £2.25m (€3m) windfall in dividends from the production firm behind the successful reality television show, Survivor.

It is reported that Bob Geldof received £750,000 (€1 million) in dividends in the 12 months to the end of March last.

The figures also show that most of Castaway’s business is generated in the US where they recorded 79% of revenues.
