Yvonne Connolly has insisted she’s no pushy stage mother as her daughter Missy makes a name for herself in the acting world.
With her eldest daughter making waves at the tender age of 15 in the industry, Yvonne Connolly has revealed she doesn’t have the time to be a “showbiz mom” but is happy to accommodate her passion.
“I haven’t got the time. It’s something that she’s very passionate about and I’ve always accommodated her and I always will, as long as she wants to do it,” she told the Herald.

However, the mum-of-three revealed Missy’s acting career has had to go on hold until after she finishes her Junior Cert exams.
“Once that’s done, she cannot wait to get back into the process of auditioning and all that so she’s dying to get back into it,” she said.
“It’s transition year next year so she hopes to be busy next year.”

Meanwhile, the blonde beauty has become a regular on TV3’s Seven O’Clock Show cooking her latest recipes but more recently has started guest presenting the show on Fridays.
When asked about her future with the show, the Masterchef finalist revealed”it’s great fun”.
“You’d have to ask them that. But I really enjoy it. It’s great, great fun,” she admitted.
“I love it. I suppose I’m just learning as I go. I’m doing some cooking and they’ve been kind enough to let me present sometimes, so it’s good fun.”
