The Sex and the City star often shares her grá for Ireland, and decided to support Irish at fashion’s biggest night in New York City.

The actress wowed in an cream embellished dress by London-based designer Richard Quinn, which she paired with a custom hat by Irish milliner Philip Treacy.

The Irish designer’s hats have been worn by some of the most famous people in the world, including Lady Gaga, Madonna, Meghan Markle, and several members of the Royal family.

The dress code for this year’s star-studded fundraiser, which always takes place on the first Monday of May, was “The Garden of Time”.

Just last week, the 59-year-old took to Instagram to celebrate her favourite Irish radio station RTÉ Lyric FM’s 25th anniversary.

The actress wrote in the caption: “Happy 25th birthday to @rtelyricfm !!!!”
