This is where you can watch the Met Gala red carpet

The Met Gala is here, with the 2024 event taking place on Monday, May 6th.

Each year there is huge excitement to see which stars and celebrity couples will be attending the star-studded fundraiser.

So if you are wondering where you can watch the red carpet, then look no further!

For the fourth year in a row, Vogue will be hosting the night’s exclusive livestream, where you can watch all of the action from the red carpet in real time.

This year, the Vogue Met Gala livestream will be hosted by actor Gwendoline Christie, producer and actor La La Anthony, and model Ashley Graham.

Emma Chamberlain will return as Vogue’s special correspondent, to interview some of the biggest stars on the carpet.

The theme for the fashion event is “The Garden of Time”, and attendees will be invited to celebrate the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.”

The co-chairs for the 2024 Met Gala are Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth.

Many more celebs are expected to walk the famous red carpet this year, with the likes of the Kardashians and Rihanna on the guest list.

The high profile event raises millions for the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art through the sale of tickets – meaning they don’t come cheap.

Last year, a single ticket to “fashion’s biggest night out” cost $50,000 a pop – with an entire table setting you back $300,000.

Designers and brands buy tables at the event and fill them with celebrities they are styling, but the celebs must first be approved by Anna Wintour.

The 2023 Met Gala was more expensive than ever – causing some regular museum donors to opt-out.

One source told Page Six last April: “These people are already donating so much. To then ask for that amount is a lot.”

Another said to the outlet: “For every person that decides not to go, 20 people will line up behind them and beg to come. Will Anna want those people? Maybe, maybe not.”
