Louise McSharry has revealed she is delighted to be back on the airwaves at 2fm.
The radio presenter took six months off work to be treated for hodgkin’s lymphoma but has finally returned to the show after making a successful recovery.
“I had hodgkin’s lymphoma but I don’t have it anymore, I feel really good and I’m really really happy to be here. I’m on a mad adrenaline buzz,” she said.

The RTE DJ told listeners she spent a lot of time thinking about the future of her show during her absense and has planned some big changes.
“While I was off I had a lot of time to think about the show and what I thought the show should be so you might have noticed that it has changed a little bit,” she said.
“We’re going to make it all about the music. You’re going to hear unfamiliar stuff but hopefully you might find your new favourite band through the show,” she added.
