Goss.ie is excited to announce that the second Goss.ie Women of the Year Awards will take place on Sunday, October 1st, in the Royal Marine Hotel in Dun Laoghaire, hosted by well-known broadcaster and entrepreneur Gráinne Seoige.

The star-studded event will honour women in Sports, Business, the Arts and more. We will have an esteemed panel of all-female judges for the awards, as well as an incredible lineup of nominees.

We will honour women across multiple genres, including business, the arts, social justice and sports.

We will also have two people’s choice awards, including a ‘Local Hero’ category, where Goss.ie readers can nominate local women in their area who have contributed to their communities, as well as ‘Local Businesswoman’ where readers can vote for women in business in their locality.

Nominations will be announced on Sunday, September 10th, see last year’s nominees HERE.

This year the awards are in partnership with Google, Catrice Cosmetics, Gym Plus, the Local Enterprise Office and Ahascragh Distillery.

Women’s Aid is our official charity partner for 2023 once again and their CEO, Sarah Benson, will be delivering a keynote speech at the awards.

In order to raise vital funds on the day, Goss.ie will also be running a charity raffle on the day, where attendees can win high-quality prizes at the event, in return for their donations.

All winners will be chosen by a highly esteemed panel of all-female judges. Our official judging panel will be announced on Sunday, September 3rd.

“In particular, it is an honour to celebrate women fighting for change in our legal system as well as highlighting women who have dedicated their lives to helping others.

“Last year there wasn’t a dry eye in the house, so many inspirational women left the room speechless, I’m really looking forward to feeling so inspired once again,” she added.

“In particular, we were honoured to have raised over €5,000 for Women’s Aid last year, and we hope to raise even more vital funds at this year’s awards, where a special charity raffle will take place on the day.”
