'We had Amy, now we're after Brian': The Riptide Movement want Brian O'Driscoll for their next music video

After getting Amy Huberman to star in one of their videos, The Riptide Movement have revealed they’re looking to nab Brian O’Driscoll next.

Amy starred in the music video for All Works Out playing a psychiatric patient who constantly sees the group playing in her head.

The boys told Goss.ie that they were so impressed with Amy’s performance, they are looking to get her rugby star husband in on the gig.

“It was great to work with Amy. We’ll probably ask Brian for the next one,”  bandmate Gerald said.

“Tom, our director of our first video is friends with them and he asked her. I think Brian knew our music from busking on Grafton street so he kind of knew of the band so when Amy asked her her he was like ‘Oh yeah cool, work with the lads, they’re deadly’.”

The All Works Out singers started out busking together on Grafton Street, and while they haven’t forgotten their roots, the lads admitted they have moved on from their struggling musician days.

“We can’t really busk now because we’re at a stage in our career now where we don’t forget our roots but at the same time, it was a time where we had to do that and then you move on.”

“It’s not that we’re too big for busking, it’s something that we would definitely love to do around Christmas time.”

Meanwhile, as the band’s star continues to rise with performances all over the world, Gerald revealed nothing will ever beat performing in Dublin.

“I love gigging in Dublin, when you’re abroad and you come back to a home gig, it’s sentimental thing, this is where we grew up” he told Goss.ie

“We’ve gone to India, we’ve gone to Russia, Germany, the States and it’s great, we love it. India for instance was amazing, it was kind of like beatle mania, they don’t drink over there so for the first couple of songs they’re really intense, they’re taking it all in.”

“We dressed up in their attire and embraced their culture and then after the third song they just went mental, but Dublin is always gonna be my favourite.”
