Sinead O’Connor has revealed she’s set to become a published author – by writing a book of her musings.
The Nothing Compares 2 U star is well-known for her controversial, hilarious and shocking blog posts on her website.

And the 47-year-old has now been pestered by publishing companies to compile these – as well as new tales – and take on the book world in time for Christmas.
She said: “I have this section on my website. Well actually the title changes depending on my hormone level through out the month.
“It talks a lot about menstruation, which is a big issue when you are 47-years-of-age. Menstruation is a major issue… now there’s a guy basically who wants me to publish a bit of a book of musings.”

And Sinead is likely to get help from her daughter Roisin, revealing she wanted to be a writer when she grew up – despite recently singing on stage with her “for the laugh”.
Now Wicklow singer is working over time to make sure the urge to get into showbiz doesn’t overcome her.
She said: “She’s a brilliant singer my daughter so I am building a really tall towers so that she wont get into show business.
“I would be afraid for her but maybe I need to let go of that but I am tempted to build a big Rapunzel tower.”

And Sinead especially fears that if she did follow in her footsteps, she would deal with the same horrors she did.
She said: “I am afraid she would deal with a whole lot of s***e for being my daughter and people would project the same s**t onto her.
“And she’s so sensitive and everything and of course I’d want to smash everyone’s face in if they upset her.”
