Sinead O’Connor has decided she is NOT joining Sinn Fein — because of its weak position on the North.
The Nothing Compares 2 U singer said they aren’t “brave” enough on Ulster after a series of talks with party leaders.
The 48-year-old said Sinn Fein told her she would be “bored s***less” waiting for them to get into Government.

She said: “They persuaded me I’d be bored s***less, waiting for them to get into government, before being able to help generate a discussion on the issue of ending partition. I think Sinn Fein could risk being braver.
“I think it’s dreadfully unfair that conversations about the end of partition can’t be had on a massive public scale in the Republic until it suits everyone up North and until Sinn Fein are in Government in the Republic.”
