Louis Walsh has revealed that Girls Aloud “didn’t like each other”.
The Mayo native admitted that the band, made up of Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, Kimberly Walsh and Cheryl, didn’t even like each other – certainly not when he managed them.
Speaking about managing the band in his early career, and the controversy surrounding how he dealt with them, he said, “I didn’t give them a lot of my time.”
“But they didn’t give me time and they didn’t even like each other!”
“It was problems from day one there. I contacted them as much as I could but they didn’t like each other.
“It was never going to work because I said Nadine was the best singer and she was. She was the voice of Girls Aloud,” he said on BBC Radio Two.
Not so friendly: Cheryl and Louis have had rows
It isn’t a secret that Louis and ex Girls Aloud member Cheryl aren’t very fond of one another, and now Louis’ had another pop at the songstress.
”She’s lost a bit of energy. She should go away, make a record and maybe have another hit,” he said.
Oh Louis..
