Kodaline sing for mourners at young fan’s funeral

Kodaline paid an emotional tribute to mourners at the funeral of a young fan who died at their recent concert.

The Dublin band surprised mourners at St John’s Church in Kilkenny city yesterday to say goodbye to Ciara Lawlor, 17, who tragically died at their Marlay Park gig in Dublin last weekend.

According to the Irish Sun the band emerged at the very end of the service and sang their hit tune Love Will Set You Free.

According to the publication Fr Frank Purcell introduced the band with mourners completely surprised.

“There are some people here today who would also like to pay tribute to Ciara,” he said.

“They are here in an entirely private, personal capacity
