Electric Picnic organisers have revealed a huge change to the festival for 2024.
The festival usually takes place on the first weekend of September every year, but that’s all about to change.
To celebrate the festival’s 20 year anniversary, next year’s Electric Picnic will take place two weeks early from the 16th – 18th August, 2024.
The news was confirmed today as the first batch of tickets went on sale as part of the Electric Picnic Loyalty Scheme, which quickly sold out.
The coveted tickets for next year’s festival were available to those who pre-registered for the loyalty scheme through Ticketmaster and were eligible to receive loyalty codes this morning.
A second round of tickets will go on sale as part of the Early Bird offering after this year’s Electric Picnic from 8th – 30th September.
There will be a final release of tickets on sale from 1st October.
This year’s festival returns to Stradbally in Co. Laois from September 1st – 3rd.
The lineup includes huge acts like The Killers, Billie Eilish, Fred Again and Niall Horan, with the promise of another major headliner.
