Stars of Beverly Hills, 90210 pay tribute to Luke Perry on what would’ve been his 54th birthday

The stars of Beverly Hills, 90210 have paid tribute to Luke Perry on what would have been his 54th birthday.

The actor passed away last March following a “massive stroke”, surrounded by his loved ones at in L.A.

Marking what would have been his birthday on Sunday, Luke’s co-stars from the hit series honoured the star by sharing touching tributes to him.

Brian Austin Green shared a throwback photo of the actors in their younger days, writing: “Happy Birthday brother!! Love You ❤️”.

Sharing a snap from the set of the show,  Ian Ziering posed alongside Luke, Brian, and Jason Priestley.

“All brothers from different mothers. Happy birthday LP, RIP,” he wrote.

Jennie Garth shared a sweet black-and-white photo, admitting Luke was “forever in her heart”.

Tori Spelling posed with her son Beau, telling her followers that she was still missing Luke every day.

“Lazy Sunday with family… some downtime today gives me a pause for reflection. Grateful to my family and extended family. Loving on them hard right now,” she wrote.

“And, doesn’t feel right not to mention that today is our brother Luke’s bday. Thinking about him and missing him. But, that’s everyday.

“So grateful he got to meet my littlest Beau and snuggle him when he was a babe.”

As well is 90210, Luke also had a starring role in the hit Netflix series Riverdale – where he played Fred Andrews.

His on-screen son KJ Apa spoke about losing his close friend earlier this year, admitting 2019 was the hardest year of his life.

Speaking to MR PORTER’s The Journal, KJ said: “It changed everything when Luke passed. I had never gone through anything like that before.

“I’ve never lost anyone close to me, so it was a really hard time. It’s still hard. Going to work, I can just feel that he’s not there anymore.”

“We had a really, really, really good relationship, me and Luke. He was just kind of a guy that kept us – especially me – grounded because he’d been through all of this stuff,” he continued.

“I was so blessed to have him in my life to say: ‘Maybe don’t do that,’ or, ‘This is a good idea.’ Just giving me advice. I miss him. I just miss talking to him. I miss listening to him.”
